Conceived as a theater for swimmers, this new Aquatics Center features a 25-meter by 25-yard competition swimming pool served by an elegant 5100 SF facilities building. The pool-side façade of this building provides a dramatic colonnade supporting an overhead trellis. This feature keeps the building shaded and acts as a “curtain” to heighten the drama of competitors entering the pool area. Additional project features include locker rooms, training and equipment rooms, offices for coaches and mechanical rooms for pool machinery.
