With this project Parallax transformed an outdated campus library into an all-new media center and computer teaching facility. The new plan locates quiet study spaces and book stacks around the perimeter of a generous reading room. The librarian’s desk is placed at a central location to improve supervision, and high-quality wood finishes are used strategically to create an ambience of high expectations and respect for study.
