This project transforms a basement multipurpose space into a modern library for K-6^th grade students. The centerpiece of the project is the Story Theater, a circular enclosure that seats up to 18 students for video and musical presentations as well as storytelling. To create a heightened sense of drama and separate this space from the rest of the library, a soft violet curtain can be drawn around the theater’s perimeter.
